Ms. York's May Quantified

Seattle, a Luddite Party, and DC

May was full of both business and pleasure. I am back in the Rocky Mountains after a trip to gorgeous Seattle. Here’s Ms. York’s May quantified:

• 2 jazz shows

• 1 opera (Madama Butterfly was a hell of a way to spend Mother’s Day)

• 3 Italian wine dinners

• 1 Luddite party (for someone working in AI, I thought it was a smashing success)

• 1 Mahler symphony

• 1 art museum visit (loved the haute couture and Western art exhibits especially)

• 1 trip to the botanic gardens

• 1 surprise shopping spree (when you give Ms. York a shopping spree, you can always take her to NYC to show those new clothes off

• 1 post on my first step into the demimonde
